No More Complaining ~ Part 2

Some say white men taught us this schism to hate one another. I don’t know but lets check history. Before the times of Willie Lynch, we were on the motherland fighting selling our brothers, sisters, mothers, cousins…etc.… into slavery before the white man came. They only took our offer and then conquered our nation. Do we not remember Shaka and the Zulu’s? We destroyed our own people and villages before any white person gave us a hand. Hey, they just finished what we started. Let’s quit blaming the white man, we must do like Michael Jackson said and look at the man in the mirror.
Let’s quit asking for handouts and go get what we want or need. We say we want better education so we need to go get it. We say we want a future for our children, let’s build it. Let us teach our children to be more than athletes, movie stars, and entertainers. Teach them about computers, economics, literature, aerodynamics, and mathematics. Make them technicians, physicians, and dieticians.
Show them how to be architects; builders of buildings as well as builders of their lives. Stop giving them X-boxes, PS4’s and give them books and tools. What are we waiting for? Are you still waiting on your 40 acres and a mule? Really, if you were to get it, what would you do with it? Probably not a damn thing!! Knowing us, we would probably sell most of it back to the same white man we claim to hate and despise. Messing the money off on cars, clothes, and things of no value and importance. Then you will probably be blaming someone for that too. It’s time we stop complaining and start taking action.

A Message for the Kingdom

My beautiful Kween, Isis Rain (her Konscious name) who assists with this site, informed me that we have 50 people following this movement. I must say that my soul smiled. Some may feel that 50 is a relatively small number compared to the katrillion people following the likes of Kim Kardashian, but we feel it’s a very strong start. I mean, Rome wasn’t even built in two months, right? So, we don’t expect our Konscious Kingdom to be built that quick either. But, what we DO know is that we have 50 people that has given Konscious Kings their precious time and attention, and for that we are grateful.
It is our hope that the Essence continues to use us to supply you with whatever you may be searching for and know that this movement is not a fad. It is a life long commitment that we have dedicated ourselves to. We hope to find other Kings and Kweens along the way who will be willing to help expand the Konscious Kingdom, whether its through word of mouth or through Konscious actions.
So, to the first 50, we say thank you for giving us a chance. We don’t need a million people for our kingdom to be powerful. The Spartan’s only had 300 and look what they accomplished (AND they got a movie deal, just kidding…)

Peace and Blessings,

Cater to Her

I’ve heard women talk about having the desire to pursue a man but hesitate because they have a fear of appearing to be “needy” or “thirsty”. I can understand this, but as I continued to think about this subject a little longer, I realized that perhaps women have the right to be a tad bit “needy”.
It’s a fact that in these days and times, most women are emotionally and mentally malnourished. Most times the only thing we men have to offer, besides a hard time is a piece of what we call, lingam. We satisfy women’s physical needs half the time and don’t pay attention to their emotional and mental needs. We fail to feed their mind and soul, and over time, they become severely starved. So, in turn, women become needy and thirsty. It’s not because they are some kind of psycho chick whose only desire is to cling to a man, but because she has not been properly and fully fed.
Women must be completely tended to; mind, body and soul. As Kings, it is our job to not only satisfy their physical needs but to make sure they are satiated mentally and emotionally. Many thirst for wisdom and guidance, and are starving for affection. They need a strong man that will build them up mentally and emotionally. We must become a teacher, caregiver and protector. We must not only provide words of wisdom and substance to sustain and strengthen her, we must also act on what we say.
If our women are needy and thirsty, it is more of a testament of our failure to give them our true love. So, if you find that your Kween is thirsty, perhaps it is time to quench that thirst. If she is needy, fulfill those needs willingly and joyfully. A king should confidently spoon feed his Kween with love, passion and encouragement until she is full. In turn, she will be refreshed, energized and encouraged and will be proud to stand by the side of her King.

No More Complaining ~ Part 1

STOP! I’m tired of this! We’re steadily blaming the whites for our loses. When are we going to start blaming ourselves? We had a choice in everything that has happened in our history, so let’s quit playing this game.
Let’s quit saying “ I hate these white folks because they locked me up”. Hold up, no one told you to pick up that gun and blast that man for his car. No one made you sell the crack, heroin, or the weed you were caught with. It wasn’t a white person who came asking you to join a gang, start robbing, stealing and killing causing you to get knocked for organized crime.
We say the black man doesn’t fly the plane to bring the dope in to the United States, oh, but when it gets here we have no problem distributing it and poisoning our communities. We have destroyed our hoods with drugs, guns and petty violence. Then we have the nerve to scream “Black Pride, fight the power”. What power? We are the only power holding US back. Stopping progress, we are our own worse enemy.
We are so negative that a positive becomes a negative. We keep ourselves in black boxes with no escape. We can see a child acting up and what do we do? Nothing! We will say, “that ain’t my child, so why worry?” Better yet, we don’t even give the child a chance because we have a habit of telling them “ you’re going to be like you’re daddy” (who’s likely in prison), “she’s going to be like her momma” (maybe on assistance), or “they’re going to be like their no-good uncle such and such” (perhaps dead) and so on.
If we see this, we must try to correct it. Black men and black women, NOW is the time to make a change! We are a family, not just a color or race. It takes a village to raise a child, why are we not helping? We are only dysfunctional because we diss each other instead of helping to solve the problem. We need to start being our brother’s keeper instead of his reaper. Hating ourselves will not help to elevate us…

A Dirty Game

My homies eyes turned red as he bled from the gunshot.

Two blinks, one tear and then his heart stopped.

On the wings of an angel did his soul leave.

Time slowed down and then I felt a cold breeze.

As he bled, his blood spread like an oil spill.

Eighteen and he’s killed… now, that’s a raw deal.

Another son gunned down, another brother lost.

He balled hard on these suckas, then he paid the cost.

He couldn’t see the jealousy inside their eyes though.

My little homie lived fast but he died slow.

The irony is telling me that I should pump the brakes

but hateful thoughts begin to overtake.

I wanna up the stakes, take them to full throttle.

Pour the gas on, hang the gas out this ‘Lac

and get my smash on.

I could retaliate, but this cycle will never cease.

Immortal enemies, so we will never kill the beast.

That’s what they want; violence, destruction and blood shed

and won’t be satisfied until we’re laying all dead.

So I hold my head and keep it movin’ just the same.

Trying to keep my hands clean but it’s a dirty game.

Damnant Quod Non Intelligunt (They Condemn What They Do Not Understand)

Why, even when black men come together in unity or a positive manner; we are considered a threat, social iniquity, or labeled as gang members when we are not?

A gang is defined as a group of people working or acting together, specifically in criminal dealings. An organization is defined as an aggregation, association, trust, company, fellowship, league, fraternity, sorority, coalition, alliance, combination, house, order, corporation, brotherhood, sisterhood, body or machine. Which one do we sound like?

No matter what people may say, we are not a gang. We are a KONSCIOUS Kingdom; Kings, Kweens and Kids. The Phamlee is an incorporation, people with the same interest brought together in a single whole. An embodiment of Konsciousness.

Our goal is simple and that is to win. We will strive to teach good people correctness, to take care of the populace, continuing to carry out customary social observances. Informing others in every field of endeavor how not to lose out to others, how to help ones self and how to enhance ones honor, view and social status.

Shaking me down and harassing me WILL NOT CHANGE THE TRUTH. JFK said “A man may die, nations may rise and fall, but an idea lives on”. I know they fear what they do not understand, but I will not stop being KONSCIOUS and spreading the Konsciousness on to my fellow Kings and Kweens!

Get Down

In a letter my homegirl wrote me, she made the statement that she believes it is “hunting season on Black Men” and I agree with that. We are being ostracized and dehumanized daily by the media and sadly, by our own actions. There is a solution that can be enacted to diffuse these acts of genocide.

The first thing they teach a student in the police academy is when you are being fired upon, get down on the ground or crouch behind something. Make yourself as small of a target as possible. This action greatly decreases your chances of being shot. So, since we as Black men are being “hunted”, we must make ourselves as small as a target as possible. How can this be done without looking weak? Through knowledge and education.

We must empower ourselves through the knowledge of self and of life. This will in turn strengthen our spirits and our minds. We will no longer feel as if we are inferior or of a lesser value than our counterparts. This will allow us to instill great morals and principals back into our essence and communities; thus elevating our self-esteem, confidence and morale. It will alter how we look at our selves and life.

An educated man is a respected man. Once we are able to climb to the same level of education as our counterparts, we won’t look to them as being superior or “smarter”. We will carry a higher image of ourselves, which will motivate us to want better for ourselves and the people in our community. Education and knowledge enlightens the mind. Right now, we are blindly walking in to the “cross hairs” of those hunting us.

Remember, before they can begin to hunt us, they have to make us look worthy of being hunted. The more despicable and malevolent they make us look, the easier it is to hunt us. The crazier and more ignorant we act, the easier it becomes for them to pick us off.  We must strive to make ourselves look less repulsive so we can look less “killable”.

Let us carry ourselves with dignity and respect. Let us walk a higher path than what we are currently on. We need to stop walking right in the line of fire. Get Down!!!

Once Upon A Time

The other day I was reading the paper and was amazed, really outraged by some of the things I read. These youngsters are crazy, I swear! They are out killing and robbing like it is natural. They do some of the stupidest things I have ever heard of. Then I thought, “Man! I was once like these lost individuals!”.

People had to read about things I had done and probably said the same thing about me and my crew. Then it crossed my mind that I am older and more mature now, so I can now see and understand the mistakes I’ve made and grateful to still be living so I can try to make amends for my past transgressions.

Now I must sit back and stop being so critical of others I see that are in the same situations I was once in. In due time, they will see the madness in their ways, and maybe make a change.

If not, they’re in for a rude awakening because doing time will clear your mind; one way or another. Doing time will either change your thoughts and perceptions or will scramble them.  Always remember though, be careful of the decisions you make because if you don’t change your ways, your thoughts will be changed by doing time or doing death. If you do death, your mind will not be able to change because your mind will stop…period!!!

Real Talk

You would rather dance with the devil than be serenaded by an angel.

I’m still trying to figure out the depth of that concept.

Pain can be pleasure and trash can become treasure but you can’t measure

the greatness of a man by the length of his …………ego.

You seem to be attracted and distracted by sinful sensations and bad boy conversations,

but then you complain about the pain he inflicts on your soul.

Truth be told, I think you’re drawn to the drama like a magnet.

Can’t wait to drag that cat out of the rain so you can put him inside your sunshine.

See, I’ve been on the other side of the fence, so I know that your common sense is

corrupted and polluted when a brother can do it like it never has been done before.

Yeah, our thug luvin’ keeps you ……… runnin’ back for more.

But, once we explore every crevice and curve, then serve you with the main platter

that’ll make your soul shatter, the music ends and the dance is over.

The Devil has done his deed and you’re left with a bleeding heart.

So, be smart, Miss Lady. Don’t drive yourself crazy behind a conniving crook

with a big cock because, although he will knock your socks off,

he will leave your temple desolate and deserted

and you’ll be left to pick up the pieces… and your panties…

Cast Offs

As I sit back, I laugh at most of these inmates in this place. Most of them have characteristics of
the Wizard of Oz.
Some think they got all the game in the world but make the same mistakes over and over. Two, three, sometimes seven time losers; straight clucks. We call them Scarecrows.
Then, you got those that are walking around bumping their gums. Chest out, selling wolf tickets. You call them out and they need people they know to intercede and come with them. Whether it’s a partner from the hood, associate, gang affiliates; we call them Cowardly Lions.
Now the Tin Men are few and really are heartless. They do what they want, when they want and are truly dangerous. They keep agitating situations and care for no one whether it’s an inmate or a Law (guard).
We have many Toto’s, followers who can’t think for themselves. These are the ones who roll with the punches, are yes-men and follow the crowd.
Then there are ones who come down here, being all that they can be, never was anything out in the world. Got a story for every part of the game. They lie about everything that has ever happened and when you pull back the curtains; you realize they are just Wizards.
Never forget those that are just plain spiteful. They hate every one and hate themselves; they bring nothing positive to the table. These ones are just miserable and need to be put down. These ones are the Wicked Witches.
Me? I hate to make a comparison to any particular character myself, but I think I come closest to Dorothy. I am lost, out of place and just need to get home. There’s no place like it, there’s no place like home!
